Clinical Supervision
CRPO clinical supervision for Registered Psychotherapists (Qualifying) and clinicians, in person or virtual.
Clinical supervision at Rush & Associates is provided by our Clinical Director Shelley Rush, M.A., RP, a recognized supervisor with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Shelley has practised as a psychotherapist since 2009 and has supervised clinicians since 2019.
Supervisees have a safe place to monitor the effective use of self in the therapeutic relationship, discuss difficulties, assess their own self-care and reach clinical decisions for treatment planning.
What you can expect
"As a supervisor, my goal is for clinicians to gain confidence in their clinical skills and to identify their areas of strength as well as areas of challenge. You will find my approach warm, non-judgmental and collaborative. I offer a safe place to explore therapeutic processes, transference and counter-transference, and ethical dilemmas."
Formats
- Individual supervision: one-on-one, focused on your caseload and growth
- Dyadic supervision: two clinicians collaboratively exploring cases
- Group supervision: a dynamic space to connect, learn and exchange insights
Sessions are available in person or virtually by video or phone.
